one card is drawn from a well sniffled deck of 52 cards. calculate the probability that the card will.

1: be an ace
2: not be an ace


mughal1: p(an ace) 4/52
mughal1: 1-p(an ace)

Hey... I think this can be ur answer!!

Total outcomes = 52
No of ace cards = 4

So,
Probability of card being ace = 4/52 =1/13

Now,
Probability of card not being an ace = 52-4/52
=48/52 = 12/13...

1. 4/52 = 1/13 (because there are total four ace cards in the deck)

2. 52-4 = 48 (since ace cards are removed)
i.e . 48/52 = 12/13
