Total internal reflection of a light :- the complete reflection of a light ray reaching an interface with a less dense medium when the angle of incidence exceeds the critical angle.

total internal reflection--> when a ray of light travelling from denser medium to rarer medium is incident on the interface of two medium at an angle greater than critical angle for the two medium then the ray is totally reflected back into danser medium. this phenomenon is known as total internal reflection
