Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Total students = 600

and No. of rows = No. of columns

Let, No. of rows = No. of columns = x

Now,    Total students = No. of rows * No. of columns

                             600 = x * x

                             600 = x²

                               x = 24 with remainder 25

              So, 25 More students are required.

As Equal no. of rows and columns are required, the no. of students must be a perfect square.

The nearest perfect square greater than 600 is 625, square of 25.
