a.i.) P gen. TTRR. ttrr.
Tall Round. dwarf wrinkled

Gametes. TR. x. tr
f1 generation. TtRr. (Tall, round seeds)
Now, F1 hybrid plants allowed to
self fertilize....
TtRr. x. TtRr

ii.) Gametes of F1 progeny
1/4 TR, 1/4 TR, 1/4 tR, 1/4 TR

iii.) Ratios of F2 generation are....
.Tall Round - 9
.Tall wrinkled - 3
.dwarf Round - 3
.dwarf wrinkled - 1
So, the actual ratio of F2 generation is 9:3:3:1

b.) Morgan discovered the phenomenon of linkage. He crossed mutant yellow bodies and white eyes females with wild type gray bodies and red eyes males.
The F1 females were wild type, where as the F1 males expressed with mutant traits.

In the F2, generation, 98.7% of the total offsprings showed the parental phenoype- yellow bodies with white eyed flies and gray bodies with red eyed flies. nd remaining 1.3% were vice versa. so, Morgan proposed that these 1.3% of the flies are recombinant. So, these crosses of Morgan we're different from Mendel work.
