We know that if the sum of digits of given no. is divisible by 9 then it will be divisible by 9.
(a)→ 21436587
= 2+1+4+3+6+5+8+7 = 36 which is divisible by 9
Then this no. will be divisible by 9
(b)→ 876
= 8+7+6 = 21 which is not divisible by 9.
Then it will not divisible by 9 .
OK.
