draw a number line then draw a perpendicular from 1 which should be of equal distance as 1unit then join both the ends and ....by Pythagoras theorem the hypotenuse will become √2 the by a divider measure the hypotenuse and mark that distance on number line i.e.√2 then again draw a perpendicular from that point of distance 1unit then the 2nd hypotenuse formed will be of √3 and similarly by doing this we can plot √6 on number line
