Given : 2(x+3) - 3 ( y+1 ) = 0

To Find : Plot the graph

1. Write the quadrant in which the line segment intercepted between the axes lie.

2. Shade the triangle region formal by the line and the axes.

3. Write the vertices of the triangle so formed.

Solution:

2(x+3) - 3 ( y+1 ) = 0

=>  2x – 3y + 3 = 0

x = 0  => y = 1

x = 3 =>  y = 3

x = - 3 => y = - 1

y = 0 => x = - 3/2

plot the line passing through the points

2nd Quadrant

Shaded the triangle region formal by the line and the axes.
