Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:Plot the points A(-2,-2) ; B(4,-2) ; C(8,3) and D(-3,3) on the graph paper . join them in order and identify the figure so formed . join AC and BD . also write the co-ordinates of the points of intersection of AC with the y- axis

Solution:

  1. Make x-axis and Y-Axis on a graph paper.
  2. Mark points A(-2,-2),B(4,-2),C(8,3) and D(-3,3) as per given coordinates.
  3. Join A to B,B to C,C to D and D to A.
  4. The shape ABCD is a Trapezium.
  5. Join A to C and B to D.
  6. The coordinate of point F is (0,-1) where AC intersects Y-AXIS.

Graph is attached.

Thus,

ABCD is a Trapezium and coordinates of intersection of AC to Y-AXIS is (0,-1).

Hope it helps you.
