Plot the points P (0, –3), Q (0, 3) and R (6, 3). Find the coordinates of the point S such that PQRS is a square.

P ( 1 , 0 ) ,  Q( 4 , 0 ) and S( 1 , 3 )

We need to find: Coordinate of the point R such that PQRS is a Square.

First we mark all the given points on the Graph.

Then see where the Point R lies satisfying that PQRS is a Square.

1st Graph Attached has all 3 given point marked.

Clearly from graph 1. Coordinate of Point are must be on line x= 4 and y = 3

So, Coordinate of point R is intersection of lines x = 4 and y = 3

that is (4 , 3).

Therefore, Coordinate of Point R is ( 4 , 3 ).
