Given : A(-2,5), B(3,-2), C(-1,0), D(2,3), E(-3,-5), F(3,0)

To Find : Plot the points (x, y) and show that in which quadrant or on which axis

Solution:

Quadrant 1   x + ve   , y  - ve

Quadrant 2  x - ve      y + ve

Quadrant 3   x - ve  , y - ve

Quadrant 4   x + ve  , y - ve

X - axis  y = 0

Y - axis  x = 0

A(-2,5)    - Quadrant 2

B(3,-2)    Quadrant 4

C(-1,0),  -  X - axis

D(2,3),   Quadrant 1

E(-3,-5)  -  Quadrant 3

F(3,0)      -  X axis
