y =  \sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {a}^{2} }  \\  diff \: with \: respect \: to \: x \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d}{dx}  \sqrt{ {x}^{2} +  {a}^{2}  }  .\\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{1}{2 \sqrt{ {x}^{2} +  {a}^{2}  } } .(2x + 0) .\\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{2x}{  2\sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {a}^{2} }  } . \\   \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{x}{ \sqrt{ {x}^{2} +  {a}^{2}  } } . \\  \\ proved.
