1. Tricki was not like other dogs. He was fat like sausage and was not even moving from one place. The other dogs thought of him as boring and started ignoring him.
2. Mrs. Pumphrey loved tricki very much. She cared for her just like a small kid. When Dr. Herriot took Tricki with him she was wailing and crying. Then she started supplying various things at narrator's house which tricki might need.
3. True, Mr. Herriot didn't do any surgery in real. He just made a strict plan for Tricki which helped him to recover from his condition.
