Heya!!✋
A superb question you have asked.
Here is your answer.
-------------------------------------------
If, the apples of boxA = x
the apples of boxB = y
Then, according to question,
4(x-10) = ( y + 10)
or, (4x-40) = 10 + y
or, 4x - y = 50 --------(1)
( x + 5) = (y - 5)
or, (x - y) = -10 -----------(2)
Now, By the elimination method,
We will substract equ (1) to equ (2),
4x - y = 50
x - y. = -10
_(-)_(+)_(+)__
3x = 60
=> x = 20
Putting the value of x in equ (2)
20 - y = -10
=> y. = 30
So, The total number of apple in Box A and
Box B is 50. [Answer]
