(i) Area of path

Formula used :

• Area of rectangle = length × Breadth

Solution :

As path is around all side of field , then

• Length of rectangle formed by path and field = Length of field + (2×width of path)

➝ 200m = Length of field + (2×5m)

➝ Length of field = 200 - 10 m

➝ Length of field = 190m

➝ 60m = Breadth of field + (2×5m)

➝ Breadth of field = 60 - 10 m
