let the weekly income be x
10%of x=0.10x
then remaining will be x-0.10x= 0.90x
25% of remaining= 0.25 ×0.90x=0.225x so remaining = x- 0.10x-0.225x=540
so x-0.325x =540
so 0.675x=540
x=800
