why ? We cannot use a clinical thermometer to measure the temperature of boiling water because the range in a clinical thermometer varies only between 35 degree celsius to 42 degree celsius the temperature of boiling water will rise above this limit, a clinical thermometer cannot be used to measure its temperature.
