Answer:
Given=>
Length of the rectangular sheet=44cm
Breadth of the rectangular sheet =20cm
Now,
since this is a rectangular sheet used to make the Cylinder we have=>
Circumference of the Cylinder's base circle as=>44cm(which was length of rectangular sheet)
and, Height of cylinder => 20cm.[which was breadth of rectangular sheet]
We know that
Circumference of a circle = 2× ×r
=>44 =2× × r
=> = r
=>r =7cm.
Hence, the radius of the cylinder is 7cm.
Remember
1]Area of circle = 2××r^2
2]Circumference = 2× ×r

As rectangular sheet is rolled along its length
So circumference of cross sectional cylinder becomes equal to length
Length = 44
circumference of cross section= 2 pie r
2 pie r = 44
r = 44/2 pie = 44/ 2× 22/7
= 7 cm
So circumference of cross sectional cylinder becomes equal to length
Length = 44
circumference of cross section= 2 pie r
2 pie r = 44
r = 44/2 pie = 44/ 2× 22/7
= 7 cm
