rectangular garden length=40m. breadth=30m. length of path=40-2-2=36m. breadth of path=30-2-2=26m. area=length ×breadth. area =26m×36m. =936 metre square. 1metre square=10000cm.square. so,936m^=9360000cm^. area of each tile 25cm×20cm.=500cm^. no. of tiles=area of path÷ area of one tile. =9360000÷500=18720 tiles.
