Heya!!

----I'm answering after long tym-------

Let the present age of two children's be x and y.

Then father's age = 3(x+y) - - eq1.

A/Q after five years ;

Sum of children's age = x+5+y+5
= x+y+10

Hence father's age = 2(x+y+10) + 5 - - eq2.

Since 3(x+y)+ 5 = 2(x+y+10)

=) 3x+3y + 5 = 2x+2y+20

=) 3x-2x + 3y-2y = 20-5

=) x+y = 15

Put value of (x+y) in eq1.

=) Father's age = 3(x+y)

= 3(15) = 45 years

Hope it helps u :)
