2. Carbon dioxide, CO2 and Methane, CH4 are predominant green house gases. Green house gases causes global warming as they trap sunlight to maintain the temperature on earth (to compensate huge fall in temperature during night).

But as their amount increases, they tend to trap more heat or sunlight which resultes in high temperature on earth i.e., global warming

3. SO2 and NO generally causes acid rain by combining with molecular oxygen and water vapour in the upper atmosphere.

For SO2

2SO2 + O2 --- 2SO3

SO3 + H2O --- H2SO4 (sulphuric acid)

For NO

2NO + O2 --- 2NO2

2NO2 + H2O --- HNO3 (Nitric acid) + HNO2 (Nitrous acid)

4. Carbon monoxide, CO has a very affinity with hemoglobin. So when it fuses in air and comes to contact with humans, it get absorbed and it forms stronger bond and more stable compound carboxy-hemoglobin with hemoglobin than oxygen compound oxy-hemoglobin. Carbon monoxide is toxic and can cause death of individual after binding to hemoglobin. Thus it is a air pollutant.
