SOLUTION OF (3):-
x=1/2-root3
Multiply the numerator and denominator by the conjugate of the denominator.
x=1/2-root3 × 2+root3/2+root3
=2+root3/2^2-root3^2
=2+root3/4-3
=2+root3
x^2=(2+root3)^2
=4+4root3+3
=7+4root3
Now consider the given expression,
x^3 - 2x^2 - 7x + 5
=x^3-7x -2x^2+5
=x(x^2-7) - 2x^2 + 5
=(2+root3)(7+4root3-7)-2(7+4root3)+5
=(2+root3)(4root3) - 14 - 8root3 + 5
=8root3 + 12 -14 - 8root3 + 5
=3
Sorry baki 2 nahi aa raha.....
