I) galvanometer will deflect at the instant the key is opened.

II) galvanometer will deflect at the instant the key is closed.

III) As the current in coil 1 reaches a steady value or zero, the galvanometer will not show deflection.

IV) this phenomenon is called as electromagnetic induction.

Explanation:

As the current changes is magnitude or direction, current will be induced in the secondary coil and hence the galvanometer will show deflection at the particular instant the key is opened or closed. At this point once it deflects and then comes back to static position. This phenomenon is called as electromagnetic induction.
