damaged. She cut the root from Plant B with a pair of scissors. Then she
placed these plants in two different pots. The plants were watered regularly
and kept close to a window.
(i) What changes would you observe in the two plants after 5 days?
(ii) How can you justify the changes?

i) the plant A will grow further but plant B will not grow instead, it will start growing the roots in the soil.

ii) it can be justified that the plant A will grow further but plant B will not grow because in plant B, the roots are absent as a result the plant cannot get nourishment from the soil while plant A has roots and can grow further easily.
