Ha!! I have solved them ago, these are same questions..

Here you go with explanation

1) now it is a triangle and it is obvious that PR is the hypotenuse so according to Pythagoras the square of hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of another triangle...

PRsquare= PQ square + QR square

lets take QR as x

24 square= 10 square+ x square

576= 100+ x square

576-100= x square

476= x square

x= 21.8 cm

2) we have to find the hypotenuse..

x square= 4 square+ 3 square

x square= 16+ 9

x square= 25

x= 5
