aloha user!!
----------------

x - y = 0

2x - y = 2

we are going to use the method of substitution.

x - y = 0
x = y-----------------------(1)

now putting (1) in 2nd equation we get:

2x - y = 2
2y - y = 2
y = 2

also, value of x=> x - 2 = 0 => x = 2

Hey there
___________________________________________

we have

x - y = 0 ........[ ¡ ]

and , 2x - y = 2 [ ii ]

Now By the Elimination method ,

x - y = 0
- 2x - y = 2
( - ) ( + ) ( -)
---------------------
- x = - 2

or x = 2

putting x = 2 in equation [ I ]

to get , x = y

or 2 = y

Hence , y = 2

Hope this may help you !
