let the number number of bicycle be x

hence,the number of tricycle =6-x

a bicycle has 2 wheels

and a tricycle has 3 wheels

given:

2x+3(6-x)=15

2x+18-3x=15

-x=15-18

-x=-3

x=3

thus,the number of bicycle =3

and the number of tricycle=6-3=3
