pls tell that after taking out the LCM ,why do we add '10' with 5 and 13?

Hi dear

●Ranjana purchased apples=2-1/2kg

◆She purchased orange=1-1/4kg

●She purchased grapes=3-1/4

◆Total weight =( 2×2)+1. /2,(4×1)+1. /4,(4×3)+1 /4

So 5/2, 5/4, 13/4

LCM of 2,4and 4 = 4

Now,5/2=5×2=10,2×2=4

=5/4=5×1=5,4×1=4

=13/4=13×1=13,4×1=4

=10/4+5/4+13/4

=10+5+13/4

=28/4

=7 kg
