Therefore , angle BCD= angle DAB
= 73° ( opposite angles of rhombus are equal)
in ∆ ABD
As, AB = DA ( all sides of rhombus are equal)
angle ADB= angle ABD ( angles opposite To equal sides are equal) - - - - ( I )
angle ABD+ angle BDA+ angle DAB = 180° { angle sum property of a triangle)
angle BDA + angle BDA + angle DAB = 180° { By ( I )
2angle BDA +73 ° = 180°
angle BDA = 180° -73° / 2
angle BDA = 53.5°
For triangle ADE
angle BDA = angle AED + angle EAD ( exterior angle property of a triangle )
angle EAD = angle BDA - angle AED
Y = 53.5° - 20°
Y = 33.5 °
