2) Physical change because when a candle is lit the wax melts and turns into liquid state and as some of the molten wax drops on the floor or table it solidifies again.

3)Water is a pure substance because it only contains one type of molecule. Pure water contains only molecules that are a combination of one oxygen atom covalently bonded to two hydrogen atoms. A pure substance is one that is composed of only one type of atom or one type of molecule.
