this is the answer for your first question (question no. 2)

the method used is called transposing method.

we take the operations from the left side to the right side but we do the opposite operation of it.

for example: take the first question. 2(x+4)=12

first, we take the 2 from the left side to the right side. but we also change the operation. The operation we do in the left side is multiplication, the opposite operation of multiplication is division. So we divide 12 with 2 as 12 is the right side here. (left side is the operations done on the left side of the equal to sign= and right side is after the equal to sign)so as we took 2 to the right side, x+4 is only left in the left side. so it will be

x+4=12/2

12/2 is 6. so,

x+4=6

now we take 4 to the right side. 4 is added in the left side. so when we take it to the right side, it is subtracted. so then,

x=6-4

6-4 is 2. so,

x=2

now there is no operations left in the left side. So here we got our answer.

x=2 is the solution to the equation 2(x+4)

In this way we can find the solutions to all the equations
