in triangle ABC

AB^2=AC^2+BC^2

25 = 9+BC^2

BC^2 = 16

BC = 4cm

in triangle ABD

AD^2 = AC^2 + CD^2

16 = 9+ CD^2

CD = √7cm

area of triangle ABC = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √6(6-5)(6-4)(6-3)

[s = a+b+c/2

=5+4+3/2

=12/2

=6]

= √6×1×2×3

=√6×6

= 6cm^2

area of triangle ACD =1/2× base × height

=1/2×√7×3

=3√7/2cm^2

area (ABC): area(ACD)

6:3√7/2

12:3√7 Ans
