1. .The poles experience about six months of day and six months of night due to the tilt of the earth on its axis. Because of this tilt, each pole is tilted towards and away from the sun for about six months each. When the North Pole is tilted towards the sun, it experiences continuous daylight for six months.
2. The importance of forests cannot be underestimated. We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. Besides providing habitats for animals and livelihoods for humans, forests also offer watershed protection, prevent soil erosion and mitigate climate change.

The silt deposited by river Ganga and its tributary makes the plain fertile. northern plain fertile because when the river ganga flow there it cannot carry so much silt with it so it deposits it on the bank so they are fertile since they carry alluvium with them . Thus the northern plains are very fertile
4. The people opposed the system of Varnas because it is one of the discriminatory forms of society. It divided people based on caste and religion. It discriminates people and violates their rights to live equal.
