  1. Fire needs Oxygen to combust continuously
  • Carbon Dioxide Fire extinguisher form a layer of Carbon dioxide over the flame

and cut the supply of oxygen thus Killing the flame

2. A flame is a hot glowing body of 'Ignited gas'(which need not be oxygen compulsarily)

Different zones of flame are

  • outer zone
  • Middle zone
  • Inner zone

3. Coal bassically is black or brown rock consisting Mainly carbon

  • A dead plant long time ago gott buried inside earth(by soil )
  • It received heat radiated by the hot core of earth
  • This heat caused a series of transformation
  • From peat-bla bla bla and finally to coal
  • which we use today

4.Petroleum

It is liquid mixture of hydrocarbons present below suitable rocks strata

  • extraction
  • petroleum is extracted from earth by digging a bore deep inside earth
  • placing pipes in that bore through which Petroleum travels and is then processed into Diesel,petrol,parrafin,Glycerine etc

5.fosssil fuels

A natural fuel such as coal,Gas formed by burial remains of Plants many years ago

limitations

  • These are present in small amounts
  • These are formed after millions of years by a series of steps and hence can't be formed instantly and thus when fully exploited can cause us to face huge problem .
