Answer:

We know that total angle of a pentagon is 540°

ATQ,

a+2a+3a+4a+5a = 540°

5a+5a+5a = 540°

5(a+a+a) = 540°

5×3a = 540°

15a = 540°

a = 540°/15

a = 36

Therefore, a = 36°

b = 72°

c = 108°

d = 144°

e = 180°

Answer:

36°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

A = a, B = 2a, C = 3a, D = 4a ,E = 5a

To Find:-

Value of 'a'

Solution:-

As we know, sum of all the interior angles of a pentagon is 540°.

\implies A+B+C+D+E=540°

\implies a + 2a + 3a + 4a + 5a = 540°

\implies 15a = 540°

\implies a = \dfrac{540}{15}

\implies a = 36°

Therefore,

A = a = 36°

B = 2a = 72°

C = 3a = 108°

D = 4a = 144°

E = 5a = 180°
