We calculate the cumulative frequency in order to find the Median

(b) Class mark = (iii) 75

\frac{lower limit + upper limit }{2}

Lower limit = 70

Upper limit = 80

Class mark = \frac{70 +80}{2}

= \frac{150}{2}

= 75

(c) Modal class = (iv) 60-70

Modal class is the class with maximum frequency. Out of all the given classes, the class with maximum frequency =  60-70. Hence, modal class =  60-70.

(d) Mode = (i) 63

Modal class =  60-70

h = 10

f_{1} = 28

f_{0} = 25

f_{2} = 21

Mode = l + (\frac{f_{1} - f_{0}  }{2f_{1}- f_{0} - f_{2}   }) h

=  60 + (\frac{28 - 25 }{2(28)- 25 - 21}) 10

= 60 + (\frac{3}{56-46}) 10

= 60 + (\frac{3}{10} ) 10

= 60 + 3

= 63
