explanation-

Electric force due to a dipole is

f =  \frac{2kpq}{ {r}^{3} }

where f = force on charge q

k= electrostatic constant= 9*10^9

p= dipole moment

r = distance of charge q from dipole

clearly we can see that

force is inversely proportional to the cube of distance.

so when the distance is doubled, force will become 1/8 times i.e. F/8.
