Buoyancy force = 10 - 8.6 = 1.4 N

Since

F_b =  \rho \: Vg = \\  1000 \times V \times 10 = 1.4 \\ v = 1.4 \times  {10}^{ - 4}

Now density

 \rho(solid) =  \frac{m}{V}  =  \frac{W}{gV}  =  \frac{10}{10 \times 1.4 \times  {10}^{ - 4} }  = 7142.85 \:  \frac{kg}{ {m}^{3} }
