 {x}^{3} - 4 {x}^{2} + x - 4

now, taking x² common from the first two expression & 1 from the last two expression of the polynomial we get,

 {x}^{2} (x - 4) + 1(x - 4)

taking (x-4) we get,

(x - 4)( {x}^{2} + 1)

Hope this helps you
