Given : Circuit

To Find : Value of  I₁ and  I₂

Solution:

Kirchhoff's current law  states that current flowing into a node (  a junction) must be equal to current flowing out of it.

At Node R :

I₂ +2  = 4 + 10

=> I₂ = 12

At Node Q :

I₁ +4  =  I₂ + 6

=>I₁ +4  =  = 12 + 6

=> I₁ = 14

Value of  I₁ = 14 A and  I₂ = 12A
