the following:

(i) Which end has a smaller area and what happens to the pain experienced when the surface
area in contact with the finger is smaller?

Now, press both ends of the pencil with a greater force and discuss:

(ii) Does the pressure exerted on fingers increase with force?
(iii) What is the relationship between pressure and force?
