Pls answer my question in chemistry very urgent pls pls pls 1. Explain why? i. A gas fills a vessel completely. ii. Camphor disappears without leaving any residue. iii. The temperature does not rise during the process of melting and boiling, heat energy is constantly supplied. iv. Water stored in an earthen vessel becomes cool. v. An iron almirah is a solid at room temperature.

1.  Since the gas molecules expand fast and also, their volume is not fixed, they fill the vessel completely

2. Since camphor is a sublime solid, it directly gets converted from solid to gas, which does not leave any residue

3. The temperature does not rise. The extra heat supplied to the boiling water is used in the vaporisation of water, which is also calledlatent heat of vapourisation. Also, the temperature does not rise even after continuous supply of heat until all ice melts, this is also called latent heat of fusion

4. This happens because earthen pot has many small holes. Water seeps out through them and evaporates from the surface of the pot, makig the water cool

5. This is because the room temperature is not enough to melt out the iron
