Solution

______________________________________

______________________________________

\tt\:⟼ {5}^{10} \div {5}^{8} = ( \frac{1}{5} ) {}^{x} \\

\tt\:⟼ \frac{ {5}^{10} }{ {5}^{8} } = ( \frac{1}{5} ) {}^{x} \\

\tt\:⟼ {5}^{2} = \frac{1}{5} x \\

 ⟼\frac{1 {}^{ - 2} }{5} = \frac{1 {}^{ x} }{5} \\

As the Bases are same, equate the powers.

\tt\:⟼ - 2 = x \\
