Given: Triangle ABC ∼ Triangle PQR,

Perimeter of triangle ABC = 32cm

Perimeter of triangle PQR = 48cm

and PR = 6cm

Since they are similar,

AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR

AC/PR = perimeter of triangle ABC/perimeter of triangle PQR

AC/6 = 32/48

AC×48 = 6×32

AC×48 = 192

AC = (192/48)cm

AC = 4cm (Ans)

Answer: AC = 4 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

As triangle ABC is similar to PQR

AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR

We know the perimeter

so

perimeter of ABC / perimeter of PQR will give the ratio

so

32/48 = 2:3

ratio is 2:3

2/3 x 6 = 4    (since we wanted to find the ratio of AC and pr

therefor ac is 4 cm

hope you understood
