x=-2
f(x)=x^3+ax^2+bx-12
f(-2)=(-2)^3+a (-2)^2+b (-2)-12
=-8+4a-2b-12
=4a-2b=20
=2 (2a-b)=20
=2a-b=10
=a=b+5,b=a-5.
x=-2
f(x)=x^3+ax^2+bx-12
f(-2)=(-2)^3+a (-2)^2+b (-2)-12
