3.
Sin A= 3/4
Sin= opp/Hyp
opp= 3& Hyp= 4
From Pythagoras theorem,
hyp²= opp² + adj²
=> adj²= hyp² - opp²
=> adj²= 16-9
adj= √7
• Cos= adj/hyp
Cos A= √7/4
• tan= opp/adj
tan A= 3/√7
5. sec a= 13/12
•sec = 1/cos
=> cos a = 12/13
•cos= adj/hyp
adj= 12& hyp= 13
From Pythagoras theorem,
hyp²= opp² + adj²
opp²= hyp² - adj²
=> opp²= 169 - 144=25
=> opp= √25= 5
•sin= opp/hyp
sin a = 5/13
•cosec= 1/sin
cosec a = 13/5
•tan= sin/cos
tan a = (5/13)/(12/13)
tan a =5/12
•cot= 1/tan
cot a= 12/5
;)
hope it helps
