let the c.p. of 1 pencil be rs 1
(because c.p. of 11 pencils is equal to s.p. of 1p pencils)then,s.p. of 10 pencils =11rs
since c.p. of 10 pencils becomes 10rs
now s.p. is greater than c.p.
profit=s.p.-c.p.
=11-10
1rs
now profit percentage =profit÷c.p.×100
=1÷10×100
=10%
