Reason:

\\\tt R \propto \rho

Where R is resistance and rho is resistivity constant of the material

Which means the greater the value of rho is the greater the resistance will be and the less easily the current will flow in the circuit.

Hence the least value of rho makes the best conductor here.

ii) D

Reason:

Amount of heat produced directly depends upon the resistance and resistance depends upon rho.

So the greater the rho the more heat will be produced.

Note: we need to keep rho moderate since too high value of rho will not even let the current pa_ss through the circuit and no heating effect will be seen unless a very- very high voltage is applied.

iiI) E

Reason:

The value of rho here is too high to let current pa_ss making it an insulator
