In 1912, passenger steamship called the Titanic (a) sailed across the Atlantic ocean from England to America. The bright moon (b) shone and gentle Breeze (c)blowed. The ship (d)sailed for 4 days ago, and was no more than half way towards its destination: New York city. Some passengers (e)slept in their cabins while others (f) relaxed on Deck, when suddenly they all (g) heard a loud band. Those standing on the Deck (h) jumped up, (i) ran to the railing of the ship , and (j) look over the side.To their horror ,they saw that they (k) had hit an Iceberg which (l) tore hole in the side of the ship. Water was pouring into the ship at an alarming rate. There were not enough lifeboats on the ship and tragically more than 1,500 people lost their lives that night. The sinking of the Titanic remains the most infamous sea disaster in history.
