let base angles be X and y ( where X=y) and vertex angle be z

given: 2(X+y) =z --------1

X+y+z =180

X+y=180 - z--------2

subs 2 in 1

2(180-z)=z

360-2z=z

360=3z

z=360/3

z=120°

subs this in 2

X+y= 180-120

X+y = 60

X+X = 60

2x = 60

X=60/2

X=y= 30°

hence the angles of the isosceles triangle are

120°,30°and 30°
