perimeter of a rectangle = 2*(l+b)

therefore the formula can also be written as (2l+2b)

2 \times( {8x }^{2}  + 4x)

=16x²+8x=2l

there to find the measure of the other side we need to substract the perimeter with the length:

2b = (28x3 = 16x2 + 8x + 4) – (16x2 + 8x)

= 28x3 + 16x2 + 8x + 4 – 16x2 – 8x

= 28x3 + 4

∴ Other side (b) = (28x3 + 4)/2

= 14x3 + 2
